Ann Bradford

Ann Bradford studied Acupuncture at the London School of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine, and graduated in 1989. In the same year she travelled to China to work in the outpatients department of the Jiansu Peoples’ Hospital in Nanjing. Ann has worked as an acupuncturist in the Pain Clinic at the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, London. She also works as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster, where she is a Module Leader and Clinical Supervisor on the BSc Hons Acupuncture course.

Ann treats all kinds of conditions, but specialises in women’s health problems and the treatment of children. She finds a combination of tui-na and other gentle (usually non-needle) methods of treatment very effective for the treatment of children.

She is in the process of setting up a research project at the Royal London Hospital looking at acupuncture for pain relief in children.
